Floyd Mayweather Denies That He’s Bailing Suge Knight Out If He Wins This Saturday’s Fight Against Pacquiao
It looks like the rumor about Floyd Mayweather Jr. paying Suge Knights $10 million dollar bail if he wins the Pacquiao fight was just a fairytale. The Los Angeles Times initially reported this story today, but seems as though Suge and his lawyer got some bad information about a possible release from jail. Matthew Fletcher, Knight’s attorney, said Floyd Mayweather Jr. would pay his client’s $10 million bail if he wins the fight this Saturday night. He went on to say “They’re good friends. That’s one of his wealthiest friends. Suge said, ‘Man, I was really going to pull for him to win, but now I’m going to have to pray for him to win.” I’n another clip, Fletcher said “My understanding is that Suge’s going to bailed out this coming week. We think Mayweather’s gonna win the championship, and the come champion the day again. They’re good friends and there;s no reason he shouldn’t, and we believe that will happen.” To see that video, click HERE.
Now, TMZ Sports is reporting that a source in Mayweather’s Money Team denied the story. Their source said that the boxer and Knight were close in the past, but have not spoken in years.
Suge Knight is facing murder & attempted murder charges, for a fatal hit and run that killed 55-year old Terry Carter and injured actor Cle “Bone” Slone.
