Chief, Calvin Williams, wrote in a disciplinary letter that the operator, Constance Hollinger, would receive an eight-day suspension for violating protocol in her handling of the call in November 2014.
I can't believe I'm even posting this, the operator gets suspended for failing to mention that Tamir was a 12 year old child, but the police that pulled up to the scene that shot without questions are free to live with no disciplinary actions. SMH! I'm so hurt by this. RIP Tamir. Prayers for his family.
