Consuella…the name rolls off your tongue as if it were meant to be part of your vocabulary. Consuella…the personality is as cool and inviting as your favorite home girl. Consuella…the woman is as spicy as gumbo, but as simple as rice & gravy.

She was raised in Lake Charles, La. the eldest and only girl of four children. So it would come as no surprise that she was a bit of a tomboy growing up. With both parents in the ministry, Consuella developed a strong sense of Faith, a love for people and a great love for music at a very early age. She was not only active in sports and community affairs, but also in theatre and singing.

Consuella attended Oral Roberts and McNeese State Universities for a total of 3yrs then moved to New Orleans to finish undergrad at the University of New Orleans. But life had an alternate plan for this girl. Unable to finish college for financial reasons, Consuella immediately began working in retail to make ends meet. Never losing her love for entertainment, she decided to get an agent and began modeling and acting on the side. Consuella quickly became a local favorite landing several commercials and modeling jobs within a year’s time. Soon after she became a local house-hold name as the Co-host of the popular Hip Hop video show, “Phat Phat ‘n All That”. After two years on the TV show, Consuella was asked to join the Clear Channel New Orleans Radio family. She became known for her contagious laugh, witty bits, and compelling “Hip Hop 411” segments on the CJ and Co. Morning Show. During her six year tenure at Clear Channel, Consuella managed to fit in writing, co-producing, and co starring on a local sketch comedy tv show called “N Touch”; was featured as JET Beauty of the Week; featured in Gospel plays; and appeared in numerous commercials and music videos.

Due to unfavorable living conditions in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina, Consuella had no choice but to move on. She was then hired by CBS Radio Charlotte as the Queen of late Nights hosting the Quiet Storm show known as “Grindtime” where she maintains an average market share of 25 during her time slot.

She may be far away from home, but Consuella seems to have an illuminous effect no matter where she goes. If you don’t already know her, then she’ll make you want to with her genuinely warm smile and vibrant energy. Some say she’s well rounded with beauty, brains, with a personality to match. But if u were to ask her, she would simply say, “Aint God good?”
