Disney is giving back to the community in a very big way. With the success of Black Panther Disney donates $1 million dollars to the Boys and Girls club in hoping to expand their STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) programs. Robert A. Iger, CEO of The Walt Disney Company stated, “It is thrilling to see how inspired young audiences were by the spectacular technology in the film, so its fitting that we show our appreciation by helping advance STEM programs for youth.”. He also stated that this donation will help the youth have the future they want and deserve. The areas that will be receiving the donation will be Chicago, Atlanta, Oakland, Baltimore, Watts, Harlem, Hartford, Memphis, New Orleans, Orlando, Philadelphia, and Washington DC.
