10th Annual Realtor Care Day / 2nd Annual Food Drive
Numbers don’t lie!!! For a decade a total of 6000 volunteer realtors have been getting together on Realtors Care Day and giving back to the communities they serve. On Friday, April 20th, for the 10th year in a row more than 700 realtors in Mecklenburg and Iredell counties will continue the efforts of the Charlotte Regional Realtor Association’s Housing Opportunity Foundation by bringing new life to the historic Camp Greene neighborhood.
The Charlotte Regional Realtor Association’s Housing Opportunity Foundation initiative of providing homeowners with critical, costly exterior home repairs and safety modifications have totaled over $300,000 in volunteer time and saved homeowners over $1 million in improvements and adaptations.
For the second consecutive year, realtors are hoping to continue last year’s success by including a canned food drive which will benefit The Harvest Center of Charlotte and The Mooresville Soup Kitchen.
