Eminem’s Manager Faces Backlash Of Gunshot Sound Effects During Bonnaroo Set

Considering that there have now been shootings at multiple concerts, the use of Gunshot Sound Effects should be off limits. 

During Eminem‘s Bonnaroo set, “realistic” gunshot sound effects were used, and Billboard reports that many fans were upset by it.

Tweets went out – including this one below, which shows when the gunshots come out, people begin to scream:

 

According to Paul Rosenberg, Eminem’s Manager, Em did not use gunshot sounds, but it was the sound of the pyrotechnics that were shot off at the end of the songs – and he points out he’s been doing that for 10 years, including this year during all other U.S. Festival dates.

Contrary to inaccurate reports, @Eminem does not use gunshot sound effects during his live show. The effect used by Eminem in his set at @bonnaroo was a pyrotechnic concussion which creates a loud boom. He has used this effect - as have hundreds other artists - in his live show for over 10 years, including previous US festival dates in 2018 without complaint.
