Yesterday, there were 83 calls for help on Charlotte roads due to accidents and stranded motorists.
As road conditions continue to deteriorate, the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department is urging residents to do three things before they travel on local roads.
CMPD is advising the community to make sure all of your windows in your vehicle are completely defrosted before getting on the roadways, in addition to removing any snow or ice from the windows/roof of your vehicle. Also, double check to make sure you have windshield wiper fluid and wipers that are working.
