#VonyettasFavoriteThings: Quick And Easy NYE Party Recipes

Who is ready for a damn good shindig for NYE?! Nothing like a popping kickback, so of course, I gotta give you a few recipes to keep the party going. These recipes are quick, easy, and bomb tasting!

First up, you can't go wrong with a great dip. What's even better, is this is easy to make. Check it out.

Shopping List

  • (1) Green Bell Pepper
  • (1) Sweet Onion
  • 1lb of Ground Beef (90/10) or Ground Turkey
  • 2 bags of Tostitos chips
  • (1) Large Jar Tostitos Queso Dip
  • (1) Large Jar Tostitos Mild Dip (You can get hot if you want it spicy)
  • Garlic Powder
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Dice half of your onion and half of the green bell pepper. Add a little olive oil or coconut oil and sautee the veggies. Then add your beef. Season  your beef with seasonings to your taste. I use garlic granules with parsley from Fresh Market. I sometimes hand grate fresh garlic as well. Once the beef is done, add both jars of dip and let it simmer. BIHHHHHH YOU POPPIN!

Second and last recipe is for some quick shrimp tacos

Shopping List

  • 1lb Shrimp
  • 10-15 tortillas (this of course depends on how many guests you have)
  • 2 limes
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Chili powder
  • Ranch powder
  • Garlic powder
  • (1) Bag of Slaw (Produce section)
  • (1) stick of Kerrygold Irish Garlic Butter (Publix)
  • (1) bundle of fresh cilantro

So peep it! These are easy too and the bag of slaw to cut a corner. LOL.

First up, pull the shells off the shrimp. Now I usually soak my shrimp in some sea salt water, but it's not a necessary step. If you do it, I soak them for like 15-20 mins. Once you have the shells off, it's time for the tastiness. Use 1/4 stick of butter and after it melts, add the shrimp. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and half of the ranch powder. Now, keep the butter out, but you will most likely have to add more for taste purposes. Once the shrimp are done, set them to the side.

In a bowl, add the slaw. Juice both limes and add the juice. Add more salt and pepper.

Put the shrimp in the tortillas, add the shrimp, and top with cilantro. BANG BANG BIH!
