Knowing that our bodies crave farm to table freshness, it is essential to find ways to provide nourishing resources to the community. But how do we accomplish this? Simple answer; with the Toyota Green Initiative.
The Toyota Green Initiative is a movement helping local neighborhoods turn abandoned land to workable farms. Specifically, in the Charlotte area, the Toyota Green Initiative is working locally with Charlotte’s HBCU Johnson C. Smith University to help make the lives of many African-Americans greener and healthier.
