“We have lost a champion.”
The hip-hop community has been mourning the death of Los Angeles rapper Nipsey Hussle, who was fatally shot in South Los Angeles on Sunday (Mar. 31).
A myriad of rappers, singers, directors, actors, and various others from the entertainment industry have chimed in regarding the untimely death of the “Dedication” rapper.
Tupac Shakur’s estate has also shared a few words about Nipsey Hussle.
Yesterday (Apr. 1), Shakur’s estate shared a photo of Hussle and wrote, “We have lost a champion. Until we learn from his life and replace his efforts- we will be weaker without him,” as the caption.
Shakur was murdered on September 7, 1996 in Las Vegas, Nevada while riding down the Las Vegas strip with Death Row Records CEO Suge Knight.
