Sweeney says that Mack and Cortez gave Wayne false information that claimed that he was overbilling.
Lil Wayne’s lawyer, Ronald Sweeney, is suing Wayne’s childhood friends, Mack Maine and Cortez Bryant because he believes that they conspired to get him fired.
Sweeney says that Mack and Cortez gave Wayne false information that claimed that he was overbilling Wayne and that the ten percent that he took on all of Wayne’s deals “was exorbitant and against Lil Wayne’s best interests.”
Sweeney claims that Wayne was “induced to terminate” his contract due to Mack and Cortez wanting to “get him out of the picture” so they could share more of the profits. We’ll have to wait to see how Mack and Cortez responded to Sweeney’s allegations.
