In the criminal system, white people are far less likely to find themselves locked up over weed charges. 

Killer Mike recently spoke at The Washington Post’s “Free to State” summit about how rappers don’t get the credit they deserve when it comes to the decriminalization of marijuana.

Mike says that with 15 states decriminalizing marijuana, activists and workers are already getting the credit, however, “I can show you a line that leads straight back to Cypress Hill, that leads straight back to Snoop Dogg, that leads straight back to people like Rick James,” says the rapper/activist.
