If you ask Travel + Leisure readers, the best city in the US remains Charleston for the seventh year in a row.
The magazine released its “World’s Best” list on Wednesday online, which will appear in next month’s issues. Some of the comments called the city, “Southern charm at its best,” while another said Rainbow Row is “an absolute Instagram dream.”

Santa Fe and New Orleans come next, with Savannah and New York City filling out the Top 5.
