There’s exciting news for fans of HBO’s Insecure. The hit show may have postponed its return but when it does finally arrive, the season will be longer.
Insecure‘s creator and star, Issa Rae, confirmed that the series will run for 10 episodes when it returns in 2020 while speaking at the Television Critics Association panel on Wednesday, reports Shadow and Act.
The show usually is only comprised of eight episodes, but now it will have an additional two.
Filming for the series will commence in September, and Rae says that the reason why there’s been a delay is her increased workload.
She’s currently developing two new shows for HBO and she’s also slated to star in the forthcoming film The Photograph alongside LaKeith Stanfield.
