Charlotte is a vibrant and fast-growing city that’s on the rise. This includes the dining scene and the come up of Black-Owned Businesses. What are we known for? What makes Charlotte restaurants different from other cities? THE CULTURE.

Owning a restaurant is as tough as it is. Starting a restaurant can be very expensive and most restaurants fail within the first year. Black-owned restaurateurs face bigger challenges such as lack of funding and resistance in a certain area, this definitely deserves recognition and celebration.

This week I want to recognize Queen Coffee Bar located in the heart of Charlotte A.K.A Belmont on 1720 Pegram St. Queen’s Coffee Bar serves coffee, breakfast and specialty drinks. They allow online delivery as well as providing soul food. Make sure you support Queen Coffee Bar owned by an African-American Female. If you are looking for a nice cup of coffee, succulent wings or just great conversation; you know where to go.
