North Carolina (Snow Hill) born and raised rapper, Rapsody stopped by yesterday and talked with Vonyetta. We talked about Rapsody’s New Album called ‘Eve’ featuring guest appearances from J Cole, D’Angelo, GZA, JID, Leikeli47, Mereba, PJ Morton, Queen Latifah, K. Roosevelt, SiR, and Elle Varner.
Also, discussing how the album embodies strong black women and showing how influential black women really are to this society. The ‘Eve’ tracklist pays homage to influential black women such as Nina Simone, Oprah Winfrey, Whoopi Goldberg, Cleo, Aaliyah, Serena, Tyra Banks, Maya Angelou, Ibtihaj, Myrlie Evers-Williams, Reyna Biddy, Michelle Obama, Iman, Queen Latifah, Sojourner, and Afeni Shakur.
