Visit a Local Farm

There are tons of local farms in the Queen City area where you can do loads of exciting activities including corn mazes, hayrides and most importantly PICK A PUMPKIN! Hodges Farm, Aw Shucks! and Hall Family Farm are some favorites close by. Be sure to share with us your pumpkin picking photos too.

Brews and Boos

Charlotte is full of mouthwatering breweries. Some of Charlotte’s craft breweries currently offer autumn-themed beers and even host some Octoberfest and Fall shenanigans.

Frightful Flicks at the Movies

There are some good spooky movies in theaters right now and a movie night is easy, affordable and frightful-fun. IT: Chapter Two, Ready or Not, Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark, 47 Meters Down: Uncaged, Crawl and Midsommar are all in theaters nearby!

Take a Trip to the Halloween Store

You can’t celebrate Halloween if you don’t have a costume, so why not take a trip to a Halloween store in town. With places like Halloween Express, Morris Costumes and Party City in the Charlotte area, you and your family can find the perfect Halloween attire.
