SANTA CLARA, CA - SEPTEMBER 12: Colin Kaepernick #7 and Eric Reid #35 of the San Francisco 49ers kneel in protest during the national anthem prior to playing the Los Angeles Rams in their NFL game at Levi's Stadium on September 12, 2016 in Santa Clara, California. I’m quitting football, it’s not because of an anthem protest or a name change, it’s for a different reason. Today was opening Sunday for the NFL and for my team (which shall remain nameless) we showed how terrible we really are. My guys were up 17-0 in their game and ended up losing 32-27.

At some point I have to say to myself enough is enough and stop staying in this toxic relationship. We have bad upper management who then pick a bad coaching staff which picks bad players to be on the team. I think what I’m going to do from now on is cheer for football in general no team no commitment just watching football for the love of the sport.

How did your team do on opening weekend?
