If you’re speeding, grandma is gonna catch you!
When drivers ignore speed warnings, there’s grandma Patti Baumgartner to take care of things. She posted a photo on Facebook of her sitting on a lawn chair on the side of a road, armed with a cup of coffee, and a hairdryer with a caption that reads, “I’m helping to keep Finley Point safe. SLOW DOWN! Speed checked by radar.”
Patti Baumgartner pointed her hairdryer at passing drivers, “encouraging” them to slow down because they might think granny’s got a speed gun. “We were talking about maybe something would slow the cars down. So, we decided to put me in a chair and I guess use the hairdryer as a speed thing,” Baumgartner said.
I wonder… are people slowing down because they are confused as to why granny is on the side of the road with a hairdryer?! Either way, she has accomplished her mission. Check it out:
