The Renaissance Festival is here and I’m actually excited. If you live in the Charlotte/Concord area and you have never been to the festival you are missing out. I take my family every single year because there is literally something to do for everyone there. My favorite part of the festival are the smoked turkey legs they have there.

I don’t even eat turkey regularly at home or anytime other than thanksgiving but I can’t wait for the festival to come to town strictly for that turkey leg. I definitely love the fact that they turn that area into a mini civilization that once existed. For people in my age range it makes me feel like I’m living through the times that I learned about while I was in school. All in all it’s a great family experience and a good time take your family if you never have. If you’ve been what was your experience like?
