Pharrell has been an singer, songwriter and a fashion icon his whole career. He’s always had his own image and didn’t follow the same fashion trends that many artists in the ‘hip-hop’ industry would wear. He would wear clothes like: skinny jeans(slimmer men’s jeans) , fitted skate tees, and mesh trucker hats. He represented the generation of young African American misfits, especially representing in pop culture. He would make something misunderstood, look good!
Pharrell is featured in the November issue of New Masculinity of GQ . What he wears in the issue and what he talks about is what he thinks represent this generation’s misunderstood black men. In the issue, he also talk’s about how he’s figuring out how to speak to closed-minded men about topics like sexual discrimination in the workplace!
