Are you a member of a credit union? Well if you are not you may want to consider joining Charlotte’s only black credit union. It’s called First Legacy Credit Union. Started back in 1941 as a place for African Americans to get loans it still serves it’s purpose and mission today. It’s located on Beattis Ford right near Johnson C. Smith and still keeps its theme as a house. I am member so i encourage you to check it out as well.
