Is there a QB controversy in the queen city? the answer, NO. The Carolina Panthers are CAM NEWTON’S TEAM. I get it everyone was excited because Kyle Allen was 4-0 as the starter but his wins came against the cardinals, texans, jaguars, and bucs. In order to considered good you have to be able to beat the teams in the upper echelon of the NFL. Kyle Allen has yet to do that but Cam has proven time and time again that he is willing to carry this team on his back and put his body on the line also. After this loss there is no reason to keep Kyle Allen as your starter. There’s an unwritten rule in the NFL that you don’t lose your job to injury but for whatever reason no one wanted Cam to come back. Personally I think he should have gotten the starting job against SF but since they gave it to Kyle, he showed that against one of the top tier teams in the league he’s not yet ready to play on that level. Cam Newton should be starting next week if he doesn’t I’d be asking for a trade.
