NCAA is proceeding with a plan to allow athletes to be compensated for use of name and likeness.

We have been seeing, video games, apparel, and so many different material where the use of these athletes names has been used go uncompensated.

The NCAA announced Tuesday that its top governing board voted unanimously to begin the process of giving student-athletes “the opportunity to benefit from the use of their name, image and likeness in a manner consistent with the collegiate model.

The rules and policies are expected to be implemented by January 2021.
