There are plenty of ways you can give back during the holidays but the question is will you actually do it? I went to a vegan thanksgiving giveaway put on by Charlotte rapper & native Deniro Farrar who wanted to do this for those less fortunate and may not even get to eat a regular thanksgiving meal. It was held at social status in plaza Midwood and had a great turn out. I’m not even vegan and I ate the food. The greens were hitting and the mac n cheese was good too, I still can’t do vegan “meat” Bc it’s not meat but this was still a great event. Celebrities showed up to show their support and it was good to see the city come together for a good reason. There are more than enough ways to give back to your community but how you choose to do so depends on you. What charitable act will you do this holiday season?
