Your right to vote as women

So if you think voting “stuff” is complicated now, you should have been living back in 1870, when the 15th Amendment was ratified to prohibit states from denying a male citizen the right to vote based on “race, color or previous condition of servitude. Since 1920 the League of Women Voters has been an activist, grassroots organization whose leaders believed that voters should play a critical role in democracy.  The League of Women Voters was founded by Carrie Chapman Catt in 1920 during the convention of the National American Woman Suffrage Association. History About Voting:

The 19th amendment guarantees all American women the right to vote. Achieving this milestone required a lengthy and difficult struggle; victory took decades of agitation and public protest.
