Did you watch Eddie Murphy on Saturday Night Live for the first time since 1984? He brought back some of his iconic characters like Gumby, Mr Robinson, and Buck Wheat and he played some new characters as well which were equally funny. In my opinion Eddie showed what the show has been lacking the last 20 or so years, which is a naturally talented superstar that makes you want to watch SNL strictly for that person alone. It was smart for this episode to be the last episode of the year because anything that came on after this episode would have suffered tremendously. Here’s the opening monologue Eddie which saw a few surprises come out to celebrate with him.
What did you think about Eddie’s performance on Saturday Night Live?
