Finally, justice will be served; we all know most of the events that took place during her arrest of Atatiana Jefferson that went viral. The public cried for a fair process after her death; we all knew something wasn’t right. The continuing disconnect that officers have in the urban community that leads to so many incidents, and officers are rarely held accountable.
Thanks to the Fort Worth, Texas police former officer Aaron Dean accused of shooting and killing Jefferson, has been formally indicted.He was in her back yard, doing a welfare check on her when he flashed his flashlight into her windows. The bodycam footage shows that he demanded she put her hands up but never identified himself as a police officer.
Less than a second later, he fired shots.
The judge has issued a gag order over the case meaning no one can talk about the case.
