Tonight is the national championship game for college football which features the #1 LSU Tigers vs #3 Clemson Tigers. Both teams come into the game undefeated. It will be a test of wills and which team will crack first because Clemson has the best scoring defense only giving up 11.5 points per game but LSU has the highest-scoring offense in the country scoring an astonishing 48.9 points per game but the one Achilles heel maybe LSU's defense they're not ranked in the top 50 in the country and Clemson's offense averages 45.3 per game also.
My personal take is that Clemson will win its 3rd title in 4 years simply because they can play defense. I've seen Clemson hold offensively explosive teams to well below their average yet I have NOT seen LSU beat a team because of their defense. Tonight will show us which team is for real.
