Diddy Celebrates The Notorious B.I.G.’s Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction
On Wednesday (Jan. 15) it was announced that The Notorious B.I.G. would be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and Diddy was ecstatic about it.
Following the announcement, the music mogul took to Instagram to celebrate the big news regarding his late friend.
“I want to share this special moment, special announcement with y’all,” Diddy said while Big’s “Juicy” played in the background. “Biggie, you did it! You did it, [expletive]! The Notorious B.I.G. is gonna be inducted into the Rock & Roll [expletive] Hall of Fame.”
“We miss you, King. New York stand up, Brooklyn!” Diddy added.
In addition to Diddy celebrating Biggie’s induction, Big’s widow, Faith Evans also celebrated the news, as well as Lil Kim, A$AP Rocky, Slim of 112, and YBN Cordae.
“Thank you to all who voted and supported BIG! He has been inducted into the 2020 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame!!!” tweeted Evans.

Whitney Houston, The Doobie Brothers, Nine Inch Nails, Depeche Mode, and T. Rex were also inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. The induction ceremony takes place on May 2 and will take place at Cleveland’s Public Auditorium.
It will air live on HBO. It’s currently uncertain who will pay tribute to the “Mo Money Mo Problems” rapper during the ceremony.
Biggie’s induction makes the Brooklyn native the second solo rapper to join the Rock Hall, following Tupac Shakur, who was inducted in 2017.
