With the news of Kobe Bryant and his daughter passing away in a helicopter accident early Sunday morning, everyone around the world was shocked and saddened. People are devastated by the news because of the impact that Kobe had on the world. Kobe’s effect on me was one of the huge impacts.

Kobe changed a culture into something you never thought you’d see. When I was growing up in the nineties everyone wanted to be like MJ and even after he retired you still wanted to be like him but when Kobe became the dominant figure in the NBA that he was, more and more people wanted to be like the black mamba! Kobe’s killer instincts and never want to lose attitude was the attitude that an entire generation wanted to have. Even in this everyone gets a participation award society that we’re in Kobe didn’t accept that, Kobe made you want to dominate everything that you were apart of. Whether it was in comedy or tv or radio Kobe made you want to be the best at it, at least that’s how I felt. Kobe even had our forever president Barack Obama quote him when his last term was over.

I literally grew up with Kobe Bryant I saw every moment of his career from the bad to the good. This moment is a moment that makes you grab your loved ones and love on them a little harder, if there’s a beef you have with someone you need to let it go and cherish the moment with have with anyone on this earth because it can be taken away from you in a split second. Kobe Bryant you will forever be missed, you are forever loved, and you will forever be in everyone’s hearts! Heaven just gained a dominant angel!
