How Did “Birds of Prey” Do At The Box Office?
ROSIE PEREZ as Renee Montoya, MARY ELIZABETH WINSTEAD as Huntress, MARGOT ROBBIE as Harley Quinn, ELLA JAY BASCO as Cassandra Cain and JURNEE SMOLLETT-BELL as Black Canary in Warner Bros. Pictures’ “BIRDS OF PREY (AND THE FANTABULOUS EMANCIPATION OF ONE HARLEY QUINN),” a Warner Bros. Pictures release.
Did you go see “Birds of Prey” this weekend? Well if you did, you were one of a few. The movie had the worst opening weekend from any DC Extended Universe film, earning a disappointing $33 million at the box office. That’s much lower than its expected $50 million debut.
The movie may have had some things against it this weekend like a relatively unknown cast and an R-rating. The Coronavirus could also have hurt its international numbers, keeping movie-goers at home.
Despite the low numbers, “Birds of Prey” is getting strong reviews. If you did go see it, what did you think about “Birds of Prey”?
