Being Misophonic
Do you ever get annoyed by people when they are chewing?
Do a child fidgeting with their clothes irk your nerves? Well you might have Misophonia.
Misophonia affects some worse than others and can lead to isolation, as people suffering from this condition try to avoid these trigger sounds.
It’s more common than you know.
Here’s some question that you ask yourself to see if you have Misophonia: Am I upset by loud noises more than quiet/soft noises, I am upset mostly by noises that won’t stop, like traffic, Do you instantly have a response to the sound that starts with irritation or disgust and almost immediately becomes anger?
If you answer Yes, to any of these then you might have Misophonia, or you could be simply annoyed by people.
