Cold and Flu Season

Remember the old days when mom would rub Vick Vaporrub on your chest when to break up the congested so you could breathe? Then our beloved grandmothers would whip up a hot-toddy as a homemade cough syrup and when we became adults we’d run to the drugstore for anything strong enough to knock out that awful cough, now on the scene is elderberry syrup people take to avoid colds and flu. They say Elderberry syrup has been used for centuries as a home remedy to treat the cold and flu, both of which are caused by a virus. The syrup is supposed to reduce the severity and length of your cold and flu symptoms. What’s your cure for the common cold?
