I had the honor of hosting the 3rd Annual CMS CTE Fair. It was a free event for the entire family featuring over 100 vendors like Digi-Bridge, iMeck at Cochrane Collegiate Academy, and Support her B.O.O.T.S (a support group for female veterans and their families).
According to the CMS website, “The Career and Technical Education (CTE) program touches over 50,000 middle and high students in Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools. There are 23 pathways that are aligned to careers and help foster students’ passion before high school graduation. These pathways link to employment opportunities in Mecklenburg County for students during high school and beyond. CTE prepares students for the transition after high school to employment or post-secondary education. The CTE Fair provides an opportunity for students and families to explore the many ways students can discover their passions in middle and high school through CTE pathways and meet employers who have job opportunities.”
Check out the pictures from this DOPE event! (I even ran into one of my favorite little Nosey Neighbors, Brooklyn. You probably know her as Lil Miss Peace Party!)
