DENVER, CO – JANUARY 29: (L-R) Volunteers Virginia Flores and Veronica Rodriguez sort donated food while Shirley Perry and Bacilio Sosa move boxes at the Food Bank of the Rockies January 29, 2003 in Denver, Colorado. The Food Bank of the Rockies is a nonprofit organization that supplies donated food to charitable organizations and meal programs in Colorado and Wyoming. A worsening economy in the region has taxed the organization and others like it, as demand for food rises and charitable donations drop. The Food Bank of the Rockies distributed more than 11 million pounds of food to 750 organizations in 2002 which is almost twice the amount as a decade earlier. (Photo by Kevin Moloney/Getty Images)
(Photo by Kevin Moloney/Getty Images)The Coronovirus has definitely caused a global pandemic and there maybe some that are in dire need during these rough times. We've put together a small list of organizations and schools in the area offering food assistance. While this is not a complete list, hopefully it will help.
**Offerings are subject to change. Please call before you go to confirm if they are able to assist you.**
