If You Work In The Service Industry This Organization Is Offering Emergency Funds That Could Help During The Coronavirus Pandemic

It is now going on a little over two months since the Coronavirus outbreak. As we enter the first stages quarantine to further maintain good health, many have been warned to stay inside. Schools and Businesses across the nation have already closed.

What does that mean?

For many of us hard-working citizens, this means being unemployed. Having no income for the time being. But have no fear for some, there may be an organization that can assist those in this time of need. USBG National Charity Foundation is a non- profit organization in Washington D.C. that is offering support for those who work as bartenders, barbacks, and bar servers with their new BEAP Program.

Some of the time, those that work in the service industry do not have the necessary financial security to survive or to sustain them during catastrophic life events for themselves or their family members. The USBG Foundation has granted over $200,000 in funds to deserving members of our industry.

The Foundation has adopted procedures in order to ensure that recipients are selected on an objective and nondiscriminatory basis. According to the post below, you don’t have to be a member to apply.
