Toni Braxton wants to set the record straight regarding rumors that she once dated Dennis Rodman. ESPN aired the third installment of its highly lauded docuseries about Michael Jordan, The Last Dance, which noted that Rodman had a relationship with Vivica Fox, Madonna, Carmen Electra, and Braxton.
Following the airing of the docuseries, a series of memes featuring Braxton and the former NBA star resurfaced on social media, increasing speculation. The photos featured Braxton and Rodman together at the 1996 MTV Music Video Awards. However, Braxton refuted the rumors.
“[Even] though @dennisrodman was kinda hot in the 90s, I never dated Dennis Rodman. We were at the VMAs,” Braxton tweeted prior to adding the hashtag #TheLastDance.
