Staying Healthy During COVID-19

Blackout Tuesday originally started last week as social media movement to encourage people to stand in solidarity against racism. Since the movement began, black owned businesses have been getting a lot of love. Particularly here in Charlotte we are surrounding these awesome businesses with a word of mouth network.

Hip Hop Smoothies is one such business receiving cognition.  At Hip Hop Smoothies you can order funky fresh smoothies affectionately named after rap songs like Fight the Power or Turn Down for What. My favorite is the delightful Gin and Juice made with blended peaches and tasty mangoes. The menu at Hip Hop Smoothies offers fresh fruit smoothies, quality coffee, and nutritional snacks. The vibe is upbeat, the smoothies are amazing and their website boasts “a selection of smoothies and coffee with a Hip Hop flavor that’s as classic as shell toe Adidas and boom boxes.”

All of this awesomeness at Hip Hop Smoothies is located at 249 Mt Holly Huntersville Rd Suite 210 Charlotte, NC 28214. Not only will you be getting a refreshingly healthy treat, but you will also be supporting local black owned businesses who would really appreciate the support in such trying times.
