The Watchmen May Get A Second Look

The perfect time to renew “The Watchmen” is now. The show is currently canceled but heads has turned since the death of George Floyd. The HBO show also received a prestigious Peabody Award earlier this week.
The show takes place in Tulsa, Oklahoma, reenacting the Tulsa riot, which played a role in the show’s narrative. Watchmen also add a hero to bring forth the comic book approach.
The program’s creator Damon Lindelof, said when he learned of Tulsa he was ashamed and felt guilt. Lindelof assembled a racially diverse writing staff, but admitted when the show made its debut that he was nervous about how its approach to race would be received.
