Dave Chappelle surprised fans on Friday when he dropped a new comedy special on YouTube released by Netflix.  However, “8:46” was no ordinary comedy show.  Dave started off by talking about George Floyd, the Minnesota man that was killed by a police officer after he had his knee on George’s neck for 8 minutes & 46 seconds  causing him to suffocate and eventually killing him.  (Thus the name of the special “8:46”)  He goes on to talk about police brutality, Don Lemon, Laura Ingraham, the girl whose name I will NEVER say (CO), and the current protests taking place all over the US.

Well, Don Lemon and “that girl” have responded to Dave’s comments.  Check out their comments below.  And if you haven’t seen “8:46” you can check that out below too!  It is definitely worth it!

Tweets from “that girl”

“To every Democrat tweeting me the clip of #DaveChappelle insulting me:
I’m not a leftist. I have a sense of humor & I think comedians SHOULD make fun of people.
Dave Chappelle is one of the greatest comedians of all time and I made it into one of his specials.
That’s POWER!”

“We’ve arrived too suddenly into a culture where people can’t laugh at themselves, or want to restrain comedians.
I will never be a part of that culture. @DaveChappelle —you are legend and I’d love to meet you and challenge you to say any of that to my face!
All love!”
