Man, I could go for a donut right now…or a cookie…or maybe a scone.
Writing about food always makes me hungry. Especially sweets. I have the biggest sweet tooth and one of my favorite bakery locations, Suárez Bakery, is now opening a second location in the QC.
Suárez Bakery originally opened in 1992 and has been sharing their delicious cakes, cookies, pastries, and donuts with Charlotte since. Now on Friday, June 19th, the bakery is opening its second location, Suárez Bakery & Barra, inside the Optimist Park food hall from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily to start.
What is unique about this new location is it will offer a bigger menu that not only offers sweet treats. Customers can now Cuban-inspired sandwiches and rice bowls. Their current location is a dessert-focused bakery in Charlotte’s Park Road Shopping Center. I am very excited to get my hands on a hot Cuban sandwich soon!
