MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA - JUNE 19: A view of Frankston foreshore is seen during sunrise on June 19, 2017 in Melbourne, Australia.

The coronavirus, the murder hornets, and now dust from the Sahara.  Actually we should be safe from that this morning.  The national weather service issued an air quality alert that expired around midnight but that does not mean the dust won’t still be around.

You may have noticed a haze over the uptown Charlotte skyline over the past several days.  The sand from the Sahara desert has actually traveled this far East and may continue to til August.  The dust could affect people with respiratory issues.  Authorities say an M95 mask could help.
