Normally in the Carolinas to fish, you need to have a license. For the past few years now, you can fish at any public fishing area on July 4th ONLY without a license.

I’ve taken my oldest son fishing on the 4th the past few years, but when my youngest was born a few years ago, we took a few years off because he was a bit young to go. Well, we’ve celebrated Juneteenth, so for the 4th Holiday, we will head to try and nab some fish.
