CAPE CANAVERAL, FLORIDA - MAY 27: NASA astronauts Bob Behnken (R) and Doug Hurley (L) walk out of the Operations and Checkout Building on their way to the SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket with the Crew Dragon spacecraft on launch pad 39A at the Kennedy Space Center on May 27, 2020 in Cape Canaveral, Florida. The inaugural flight will be the first manned mission since the end of the Space Shuttle program in 2011 to be launched into space from the United States. (Photo by Joe Raedle/Getty Images)

SpaceX is set for a historic launch.

A Falcon 9 rocket is set to blast off today from Cape Canaveral in the company’s first launch as part of a US Space Force mission. The Space Force was created in December, and the rocket in today’s launch will carry satellites for military use. A 15-minute launch window begins just before 4 o’clock this afternoon, Eastern time. Weather is 60-percent “Go.”

Also, I have binged Space Force on Netflix and despite what haters say, it is pleasantly entertaining.
