This is a new order that I am truly not a big fan of.

Starting this Friday, Governor Roy Cooper ordered the stop of alcoholic drinks in restaurants, breweries, wineries, and distilleries at 11 pm. This will be state-wide and North Carolina bars that are currently closed will remain closed.

According to the new order, it will not apply to grocery stores, convenience stores, or other entities permitted to sell alcohol for off-premises consumption. The North Carolina Department of Health & Human Services reported as of Tuesday that 1,244 people are in the hospital with coronavirus, marking a new record high since the pandemic began.

So long story short…starting this Friday you won’t be able to be out and about drinking past 11 pm.
