Today is September 24th…
And on this day 17 years ago, OutKast released their 5th studio album “Speakerboxxx/The Love Below“. This classic double album was two independent albums, one produced and written by Big Boi, and the other written and performed by Andre 3000. The album was nominated for 6 Grammys and won 3, Album of the Year, Best Urban/Alternative Performance for “Hey Ya!” and Best Rap Album.
