Looks like I’m not doing this “sleeping” thing right. The Better Sleep Council surveyed sleep doctors about what NOT to do before going to bed at night. Check out the list.
- Don’t watch the news
- Don’t work in bed
- Don’t work out
- Don’t have tense conversations
- Don’t drink caffeine
- Don’t drink alcohol
- Don’t use electronic devices without a blue light
- Don’t sleep with bright lights in the room
- Don’t spend too much awake time in bed
Following this list could mean the difference between staying up or getting a good night’s rest. So, how many of these things do you do? Me? I’m guilty of 8 of them. Looks like I have some work to do.
