CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA - APRIL 21: Airplanes sit on the tarmac at Charlotte Douglas International Airport during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic on April 21, 2020 in Charlotte, North Carolina. Of course when COVID hit, everything changed. I do mean EVERYTHING changed! I think one of the biggest changes we saw, was how airports operate.

Think about pre-9/11, things were a lot more lax. Then 9/11 happened and things changed forever as we knew it. Same with COVID. Things have changed forever as we know it with just about everything in the country. I’m sure eventually the mask mandates will go away, but for now, thats not the case.

It’s good to hear that TSA has loosened one rule. Passengers can now bring a bottle of sanitizer in the airport in your carry-on up to 12oz. That’s crazy that they didn’t allow it before, because I’m that person that is constantly sanitizing my hands. So I’m glad.
