The Panthers shutout the Detroit Lions 20-0 with a great game behind Brian Burns. Walker was starting because Teddy Bridgewater is nursing a knee injury. Walker is a great success story, he went undrafted and signed with the Indianapolis Colts in 2017 then the team released him. He went on to play in the restart of the XFL this past year before it folded and was having a MVP type of season. Walker put up good numbers in his first start he went 24/34 258 yds 1 TD 2 INT's
